Engaging in conversation about climate change with high school students requires a multidisciplinary approach. Climate change can be an overwhelming topic to cover in the classroom, especially for people who do not specialize in this area. However, this website is aimed at guiding teachers and students on how they can engage with climate-change activism in a subject area that feels more tailored to their needs. Most public schools, if they teach about climate change at all, only teach about sustainability and climate change in environmental science or biology classes. This lowers engagement with the students, as many are not especially interested in science classes. Integrating climate education into all subjects would improve engagement, discussion, and activism regarding sustainability. We have gathered information for educators and students alike in most subjects taught in public schools to aid people in finding ways they can continue the conversation.
